Q: How do you calibtate Running in the Ipod Nano 7g?
I read the manual. Run multiple times. Entered calibration numbers each time, I get new mileage based on the calibration numbers. It all seems great. Problem is it recalibrates WALKING nut RUNNING. Apple, after many back and forth discussions, offered to my Nano 7G for a new one. Didn't run all winter and just tried it today, same thing. Apple says its Nike+ firmware problem; Nike says its an Apple problem. The 7G would be pefect otherwise. I use the 5S with various aps for running as a result, and it works rather well even with the annoying oddities of the free aps. It would be great if Apple made an iPhone the same size as the 7G, but I read now the iPhone 6 will be is even bigger than the 5S. The Nano 7G calibration problem would be east to fix if they GAS, but they don't. P.S. The 7G manual wasn't proof read very well.
