Q: Can't delete Windows partition - get an error

Hi,

I'm trying to remove the Windows partition and go back to a single Mac partition on my late 2013 MacBook Pro 15. When I start Bootcamp to do this, I get:

The startup disk cannot be partitioned or restored to a single partition.

The startup disk must be formatted as a single Mac OS Extended (Journaled) volume or already partitioned by Boot Camp Assistant for installing Windows.

I've tried repairing disks and other random stuff but still get this error.

Anyone have any ideas how to remove this Windows partition and go back to 1 single Mac partition?

I am running the latest Mac OS with all updates. The Windows partition is Windows 8.1 Pro.
