Good Macbook Pro scratch remover?

I did lots of research in order to find the best fix for my MacBook scratch. I came across a form(Removing a scratch from the iPad back with Meguiar's Scratch X 2.0) that gave good detail as to how to rid my MacBook from scratches, I decided to put it to a test and made this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QRyBjQGTUKc. Needless to say, the end result was somewhat dissatisfying.

To date there is no product that will remove the scratches. There are some that will make them less noticeable but that is the best you can hope for. If the cosmetics are that much of a problem, then replacement is the only solution.

I suggest that you search these forums or the Internet. I do remember a discussion on this subject over a year ago, but I do not remember the specific product. Personally. I do not concern myself about such issues.

You cannot polish the brushed alloy without making a shiny spot, it will only look worse resultantly.

blending brushed or matte aluminum takes serious skills. Been polishing metal, stainless, aluminum for decades.

Its an insanely difficult task

you have to sand out the mark, blend it, lower the finish, raise it then lower it out again to blend the matte finish.

people wrongly think making things shiny is hard, its just the opposite, making things look matte and blend in is the real nightmare.

its a beauty mark, like a mole on the face of a supermodel.

@ CBennett2498 - Yes, I'm in the same boat. I nicked my top-shell with the edge of my MagSafe's connector. We're talking a milimeter long flaw that is driving me crazy. Here are the solutions I've seen so far. I do not vouch for any of them yet, but they seem promising.

I am also going to put shell on the machine the way I do for my iPhone. I like my Apple toys too much to let them be scratched up. I just wished I'd come to this decision before I'd nicked my 1 month old MacBook.

Just tried the Meguire's Scratch remover with no discernible results :(
