I'm trying to sync events that I've entered in iCal on my Mac (10.9.2) with iCloud and an iPhone 5c. I can add new events either on the phone or Mac and they get pushed to the other calendar and to the iCloud calendar so I know everything is working.

 

However, events (past or future) that I've entered into iCal on my Mac don't show up on my iPhone or in iCloud. I've followed much of the advice I've found here, including http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3999.

 

The iPhone setting for calender is set to sync all events and I've tried changing that to other choices like 1 month back, to no avail.

 

I would appreciate any advice.
