Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I'm working on a brand new macbook Pro 15inch, 16gb ram and using FCP X 10.1.1 but when I go to export my project (25gb) I am getting an error 27 msg a couple of minutes into the export. Can you please tell me what the cause may be and how to rectify it?

Ok, dont know why it didnt work the first time round except that I was trying to export to an external drive. Tried saving to desktop and succeeded this time round.
If anybody can shine some light on why it wouldn't do it the first time - e.g. what is an error 27, I would be grateful for future cases.

Anybodies guess as to why.
One cause may be the drive is not formatted to Mac OS Extended.

Thank you. You might be right there. Tried copying output movie of 25gb to external on new macbook pro and it wouldnt let me unless I formatted. So guess you might be right.
