    Hi,

     

    Relating to the article you quote there is a setting in Keychain Access (Applications/Utilities) that allows the Keychain Password to be the same as the User Login Passowrd so that the keychain is Unlocked each time you Start up

    If the second item down is not ticked any change to the Login password will cause the Keychain  to ask for it's password each time you do something.

    Selecting the item and possibly changing the Login password again will cause the "ask every time" action to stop happening.
