MacBook Pro won't start

I left my Mac on last night and just closed the screen. It was still plugged in and I had a iPhone cable plugged in. When I got up in the morning it would not start.... Power cable shows it's changed with solid green light... Nothing works.... It's like the power button does not exist..... Any ideas out there?
