Can i get a USB IR receiver for Macbook Pro?

Dear Mac friends!

Friday, I got my first Macbook. I decided to get the 13" Macbook Pro Retina, and i'm so happy about it!

But, there's one thing, that I noticed, this Mac doesn't have IR Receiver.... Is it possible to buy this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/StarTech-USB2IR3-USB-to-Infrared-IrDA-Adapter-works-wi th-FIR-MIR-SIR-ASKIR-Modes-/351033354311?pt=US_Ethernet_Cables_RJ_45_8P8C_&hash= item51bb37e847 and then use the Apple Remote? I found the Mantra TR1, but first of all i'm from Denmark, so the shipment will be expensive. 🙂 On Ebay, I can find free shipping!

After re-reading your post - I see shipping for the product on the page I liked might be expensive ... did the linked Ebay model work? All I know is that it should use Apple's/OSX's built-in IR drivers to work properly.
