Bluetooth Without Passcode

I cannot find the option in OS X 10.9.2 to pair with a bluetooth device without using a passcode. This seems to be gone from earlier versions of OS X. Does anybody know how to do it?

Mac mini, OS X Mavericks (10.9.2)
