ethernet connection and set up for os 9.2.2

I'm struggling with a ethernet connection for an older MAC G4 running 9.2.2. The Airport Extreme is working for five new devices, MBpro, G4 PowerMAc, iPad, MB3.1 etc.

The TCP/IP has the exact addresses from the AE TCP/IP panel. the cord connecting the two is new, and yet the old G4 will not connect to the internet.

Mac OS 9.2.2 unfortunately does not support Airport Extreme's 802.11g or better. You should get yourself a WiFi ethernet bridge, and hook that up to the G4 running 9.2.2.
