Q: I don't remember the answers to my security questions ...

...and it won't send an email to reset them. What do I do?

I am so sick of Apple! It seems like every time I try to download something, I have to enter my password and it always says it's wrong (even though I write it down and copy it exactly) and I have to reset it. Now it wants my security questions--stupid things like 'What was my favorite car'. Do you think I can remember months later what I wrote? I didn't like any of them. And the 'email to my rescue email address' that the Support page says I can send is not even an option.

iTunes didn't used to be this way. What happened? And what's with these communities I have to pick from? 'Physical and Motor Skills'--what does that have to do with Apple? Is there an 'iTunes' community, which would at least make sense?

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; this can be done by phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, or clicking here and picking a method, or if your country isn't listed in either article, filling out and submitting this form.

They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.
