do i have to pay for a replacement phone, when i take my phone into the shop to be replaced or repaired. i dont have any money to pay for this, am i entitle to a free replacement phone

If the iPhone is faulty and the genius bar can tell and it is under warranty then they will replace it

All 5C are still under warranty so make an appointment at Apple Store genius bar and get it sorted

If there is any sign of user damage ,water damage or being opened (tampered with) then the warranty will be void

It has a one year warranty. It should still be covered provided it wasn't opened by an unauthorized party or physically damaged.

If it's defective, it should be replaced under warranty at no charge. Apple does not repair them, they just replace the entire phone, usually on the spot. You won't have to wait.

Only specific faults are repaired in the store. If they determine that all you need is a new battery, they may replace the battery in store, which would be done on the spot. More than likely, your phone will be replaced.

The only part UK genius bars can fix is the screen on 5C

I am sure it will be a straight exchange ,make sure everything is backed up if they agree it is faulty and go ahead

All faulty iphones are refurbished in the Apple supplier factories in China

They DO NOT send it off for repair ,they exchange over the counter if it is faulty there is no choice

if you think it is software then you should Restore best as new to ensure it is or is not a software issue

Apple expect you to troubleshoot that before you take up valuable genius bar time
