cannot get rid of network connection error message even though I have no connection problems

On start up when going onto web via wifi getting very irritating network connection error message even though there is no problem any body know how to get rid?

MacBook (13-inch Early 2009), iOS 7.1.1

Delay before connection
In some cases, webpages might load, but you have to wait quite a bit before they do. This could be caused by DNS issues.
