May 4, 2014 5:46 PM in response to louisejaynerobertsby Tesserax,What is the make & model of the wireless router that you will want to extend with the AirPort Express? Which exact version of the Express do you have? Will you be using a PC or Mac to administer the Express? Finally, will the connection between routers be wired or wireless?

May 4, 2014 5:59 PM in response to louisejaynerobertsby Tesserax,Sorry, but you will not be able to extend the Netgear's Wi-Fi network with the Express if the connection between them will be wireless as the two are incompatible for this feature.
However, if you can allow the connection to be wired the Netgear could be extended by configuring both routers for a roaming network.

However, if your goal is to extend the Netgear then you would have, at least, two other choices:
- Get a second Express. Connect one to the Netgear by Ethernet. Configure it and the second Express for an extended network.
- Check with Netgear to see if they offer a wireless extender for their products. (Note: You could still use the Express in this case for iTunes streaming.)
