Q: I recently downloaded OS X Mavericks and am having a problem with my e-mail.  When I try to send or receive e-mails I get message "Password could not be sent to "pop-central.cox.net" securely.  Started getting this message after I downloaded.

Recently downloaded OS X Mavericks and now having a problem with my e-mail.  When I send or receive e-mail the message "Password could not be sent to "pop.central.cox.net" securely.   Can proceed without a secured password.  This was not an issue until I downloaded the OS X Mavericks.  Can anyone help?  Is this a computer settings issue or a cox issue.  Am not very computer literate.
