Smart Access 4Car

Hi I have purchased a Clarion NX603 car stereo that is supposed to connect to the internet through a application called Smart Acess 4Car which provides a host of options for operating the stereo. When I attempt to download the app Smart Acess 4Car, it tells me 4Car is not available in this country - I am in Canada. I really woiuld like to have these features enabled and wonder if anyone has come across this situation before and if so what if any remedy is available to get it running.

Unless this is a different app with a similar name, it seems to be available in Canada:

If that's not the same app, then all you can do is urge Clarion to release the app you want in your country.

Hello and thanks for the reply. You are correct the app does physically exist, however, once you try to install one of the recommended components - "Smart Access 4Car" which is the installer portion of the app, it clearly tells you "4Car is not available in this country" asnd you have a blank screen when trying to install.

This is the point I am at and really want to move forward in being able to open all the softwarre available on the Clarion deck.

Any help would be appreciated!

Sorry, not a clue. That's an issue you'll probably need to take up with Clarion support. If there are components that they haven't made available in Canada, then until they do there's nothing you can do.

bump. Have you figured this out yet balbert1, same issue here and want to use my head unit. whats the point of selling it if the main feature doesn't work in this country?
