iPod Nano 7th gen not syncing, accesoire not recognized

Hello,


My iPod Nano 7th generation is not syncing to my Macbook Pro, late 2011 and my iPod says 'Accesoire not recognized', while it's a lightning-cable from Apple itself. Can anyone help?

iPod nano (7th generation), OS X Mavericks (10.9.2)

I would recommend making sure you are using an Apple branded Lightning to USB cable, the MacBook Pro is connected to power and that you are not using a USB hub or docking station when charging the iPod nano.
