    What password have you updated?

The Apple store will use your Apple ID password which can be updated at …

    https://iforgot.apple.com/password/verify/appleid

When installing updates you will also be prompted for an administrator username and password which is set on the Mac itself. The first user on the system is usually an admin account.

Please post more info so we can help yu reset the correct password, you could grab a screenshot & add it to this page to clarify…

cmd+shift+4 then click & drag the crosshair to take the screenshot of the dialog, the screenshot will appear on

    the Desktop.

If you're having problems with the App Store you might try this:

1 - enable the Debug menu in App Store:

        • open the Terminal application.

        • copy the command below and paste into the Terminal window:

defaults write com.apple.appstore ShowDebugMenu -bool true

followed by Enter or Return key.

        • launch App Store, login.

2 - select the Debug ➙ Reset Application option:

    3 - try again.
