May 5, 2014 11:02 AM in response to keithfromwoodinvilleby MichelPM,Do you have any type of backup you can revert to?
If not, before erasing and reformatting your HD for a clean install of your previous system, you need to, at least create a backup so you still have all of your important data backed up so you can copy it back to your new, clean system install.
The erase, reformatting and re installation on your Mac's internal hard drive will erase everything including all saved data.
You will have to reinstall all of your Applications, as well.
Good Luck!

If you describe your symptoms here, we may be able to give you advice that could help you solve the problem without resorting to such extreme measures.
