How can I install Aperture to my new iMac when I purchased it and installed it to my old MacBook Pro as an older version?

When I bought Aperture, I could upgrade it up to a version 3.2.4. I cannot upgrade it more due to the hardware limits (and thus iOS limits). Now I just bought a new iMac and I cannot move it to it beause it's too old for it! Which is very frustrating :-(

Please help, I'm not gonna pay for Aperture again...

Thank you!

Aperture 3, OS X Mavericks (10.9.2), I don't know if it's Aperture 2-3

How did you buy Aperture? As the boxed retail version?

Install Aperture 3.2.4 on your new mac using your installer disks - it does not matter, that you cannot run it.

Then download the updater for Aperture 3.4.5 from the Support page -use this link:

Aperture 3.4.5

Now try to launch Aperture and enter your serial number.

Then sign into the AppStore with your AppleID, and you should be able to upgrade to version 3.5.1 from the AppStore.

That was the first thing I did. Aperture isn't on the list... So I thought I had to be mistaken and asking a wrong question then. But if I did not buy Aperture, then I don't understand where I could get it. I don't think I stole it!

So I gave up and clicked to buy it again. And the system told me that since I already had bought the Aperture, "this update" is for free.

So I hope that this experience helps other people as well.

Thank you both for your answers, for you time!

Cheers.
