see if you try to compete all different things than there is a chance that you can lost your contacts details. so in that case i used a thrid party tool which is excel to vCard converter.. as i tied the same way and lost some of the important contact detail. there are many such kind of tools are available and some of them are free to download like http://www.exceltovcard.onlinetechaid.com/
