Nov 1, 2014 9:26 PM in response to Linc Davisby kytrails,I have same problem, installed an ad blocker, and javascript blocker,the following site keeps embedding itself into default web site in safari preferences, i change it and then it reappears the next time i start-up safari.... http://www.only-search.com/?babsrc=HP_tedge&affID=129546 ...notice screenshot below, currently there are 7 ads occupying tabs across top of page

Here are Linc Davis' instructions for how to remove it: Re: HELP! Malware detected on my Macbook Pro.

Nov 1, 2014 9:55 PM in response to kytrailsby kytrails,if I replace homepage in safari > preferences > General with apple.com...the apps stop, but as soon as I quit safari and reload it...the rogue website embeds itself and here we go again with all the ads...gamefly, mackeeper, scan pc, purifier, etc...
