May 6, 2014 11:19 AM in response to CaraRose47by CaraRose47,Meg, thank but I don't think I phrased my question correctly. LOL to me. When I first got the phone the battery percentage bar was white when 100% charged and turned black as it used up battery. Yesterday the bar was entirely black instead of white at 100%. It has always been green when plugged in and white when online with the battery going down to black as it used battery.
It now seems that the color of full charge is black going down to white as it uses battery??? Should it be this way and did it change due to update???
Thanks. Cara

May 6, 2014 11:35 AM in response to CaraRose47by IdrisSeabright,★HelpfulHonestly, I don't pay that much attention to anything but the percentage number. There are some minor differences between the iPhone 5S and the 5C and I have a 5S. If the phone is still using battery in the normal way, I wouldn't worry about it.

May 6, 2014 11:38 AM in response to CaraRose47by WiseJD,★HelpfulTry a Reset by holding down the Sleep (Power) Button and the Home Button at the same time for about 20-seconds. When the Apple Logo appears you can let go of both Buttons and just wait until the iPhone returns to your Lock-Screen. Hopefully your Green then White with used portion Black will be back to normal.

May 6, 2014 4:52 PM in response to CaraRose47by Lyssa,Not sure this applies to the 5c, but on my 4S the battery status icon also changes color based on the background of the app you're in.
For example, if I'm in the Messages app, which has a white background, the status icon is black (assuming my phone is not plugged in).
When I exit to the home screen, the icon switches to white as my wallpaper is a darker image.
Perhaps you are seeing the same?

No, Apple do not support downgrading.

Downgrading "may" be "technically" possible through jailbreaking, which WILL VOID any and ALL warranty you may have and support from Apple and these forums ( Please read the ENTIRE article I linked to ).
You also put yourself at significant risk of turning your iPhone into a very expensive paperweight.

I have found two articles online that may help with the battery drainage issue until Apple releases an update that fixes the issue: 1.)http://www.macobserver.com/tmo/article/how-to-manage-and-control-cellular-data-u sage-on-your-iphone.
I can not say how good or valid the information in these links may be as I don't have an iPhone.
