RAM not recognized ! HELP please !

I bought 2 x 2GB PC3 - 8500S - 07 - 10- F2 samsung DDR3 memory, i installed them in my mac ( i heard the "Clip" that indicates that they are installed) but my iMac (Late 2009) still show me 4gb of RAM that I had initially. Can someone help ? Please !

Return it for refund and purchase ram from either Crucial http://www.crucial.com

Or OWC http://eshop.macsales.com

Ram from anywhere else may not be the exact spec that they advertise, your Mac needs exact spec ram.
