Any idea how to identify movies that are currently downloaded to my computer's harddrive within my iTunes library?

I want to remove all downloaded content, but I am unable to identify which movies are currently on my harddrive.

I understand the icons, and your response did not answer my question. Of the 100+ movies in my library, I am trying to idetify which movies are currently downloaded onto my harddrive. There are no recognizable icons to identify movies that are currently downloaded.

Here's how you find out which one the Store thinks you have not downloaded:

Again, you have NOT answered my question. Upon looking a bit further into the issue, it seems the only way to identify movies that are currently downloaded onto my harddrive is to scroll over each "cloud" icon and find the ones that do not contain a download arrow. Huge waste of time and very tedious. This should be a seemless process and much easier to identify.

Just select all movies and press Delete

You don't need to do it for each individual item.

FYI: You should run Apple menu > Software update and update from 10.8.2 (as shown in your signature) to 10.8.5.

I am actually using 10.9.2 but that was not an option when I had to fill in the info for this forum question.

And selecting all movies and pressing DELETE does not work, at least not for me. When I do that iTunes

wants to hide all of the movies in my library versus deleting them from my computer. iTunes as a package has really become non-user friendly. Hopefully the next version will become a bit more simplified.

It is asking if you want to hide them in iCloud because they are no longer on your computer.

If they were on your computer, it would ask if you want to delete them from your library then ask if you want to delete them from the copmputer.

That is just a ridiculous function that creates more steps for the end-user. Again - things should be simplified.

Apple needs to have some "real users" test their apps before they decided to make changes.

Hiding purchased items not on the computer is "ridiculous? How so?

Many people wanted this specific function.

How/where does it "create more steps"?

I just find it tedious to have to sign back into my account to view all hidden purchases. Seems to me it would be much user friendly if it was a simple "toggle" function done via a queary. Thankfully I rarely download movies. We mainly use the Apple TV and just watch directly from the cloud.

    ???

You have to sign into your account to view any of your purchases not on your computer.
