Our company's insurance policy requires all drives to be full-drive encrypted in compliance with FIPS 140-2. I see that Windows 8 Bitlocker does meet this standard. Am trying to find out about macs running the latest OSX.

Useful link, but only for those running 10.8. Links to a FIPS administration installer that won't install on Mavericks, error message is it requires OSX 10.8. Any idea what the situation is on 10.9?
Dug deeper, found the answer. Full disk encryption on 10.9 is FIPS 140-2 complaint. Thanks again for your help!
