Q: I tried to upgrade my iphone 2g to whitedoor 7.1

I tried to upgrade my iphone 2g to whitedoor 7.1.In this process i have to restore the iphone to apple existing version so i did it. Then i did it then this message appears "Sorry we are unable to continue with your activiation at this time". Now my phone is asking to insert the proper simcard. and it is not allowing to use any of the other features. I would appreciate any help from apple team. Thankyou.
