Q: How do I change my Apple ID on the iCloud login as my old email keeps appearing and it won't allow me to change it?

I want to change my iCloud ID but it shows but old email address and won't allow me to change it.. Does anyone know how to update it?

    Other posts I read say Settings>iCloud Drive and then scroll down to delete the account.

     

    The problem I'm having is that it asks me to enter the password for my old address but because I already updated/removed it directly from iCloud site, it won't accept it so I'm stuck. I'm contacting Apple and will post outcome in case you're in the same situation as me.

    You would have to create a new Apple ID, which in my experience is more of a hassle than it is worth. Just go to your current Apple ID and put your new e-mail address to the current address to receive e-mails.
