While on call cant lock phone
While I am on a call, I can't lock the screen like 4s. Is there a setting somewhere I can't find?
iPhone 5s, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

What happens when you press the sleep/wake button on the phone? That should put the display to sleep.

It doesn't go to sleep, while I am on a call, that's the problem. So I have to hold the phone away from my face. When I try to lock it while on a call it disconnects the call
Are you running the latest version of iOS?
Try resetting your phone. Push and hold the home and sleep/wake buttons for about 10-15 seconds (until the screen goes blank. Ignore the slider if it comes up), then release them.
The phone will reboot and I would test putting the display to sleep after the reset.

I have already done that. Someone else mentioned with a case on the phones proximity sensor can't work? But I had a otter box on the old one and it worked. This one has a life proof case. Again is there a setting somewhere?
It does it without the case on as well
If the sensor is not working might be time to pay a visit to Apple repair agent.
There's no setting that I'm aware of.
If you're on a call and you place your fingers over the top of the phone (in line and above where the speaker is), the display should shut off. If it doesn't, your proximity sensor isn't working properly and I would recommend taking it to an Apple store to be looked at.
