Can I recover a copy of a FaceTime conversation I had with someone?

I talked to my grandfather on FaceTime last Thursday and he passed away on Saturday. I would love to get a copy of that conversation, I think that would be really cool! I was wondering if there's any chance that Apple stores recordings of those conversations somewhere for a limited time. I think it's probably unlikely due to privacy concerns, but I just thought I would investigate a little and see if it was possible. Thanks!
