MSDS & Text Report UN38.3 for ipad

To my knowledge Apple has not published such reports for any iPad model. You can call Apple Support and ask, but I doubt they will be able to help. You will probably need to work this out with your carrier. Most have exceptions for devices which have relatively small batteries which are completely contained within the device.

iPad: Battery safety certifications.

This states that iPad batteries are compliant. Is that adequate?
