Opening .m8 file

Anyone know how I can open a .m8 file on an iMac running OSX 10.9.2?

From what I can tell, this is a Windows file, but I'm not entirely sure. If so, is there a Mac application that will open it, or will I have to use Windows under Fusion, or similar?
