I had recently changed my email address and can get into my itunes and phone fine but icloud willnot let me log in to shut it off. It has my old password. How do I update it? It will not let me delete it out.

I had recently changed my email address. I changed it through itunes but did not through icloud because I thought it would change everywhere. Now my phone is acting up andI need to reset it to factory settings and cannot because icloud wants a password. Even though I put my old password in which is correct it still will not accept it. HELP
