Webpage states specified URL cannot be found

Hi

I recently accepted the invitation from Apple to upgrade to OS X Mavericks. Since then a regular website will not let me log in and the page states that the specified URL cannot be found. I should add that the aforementioned login works fine on our PC. Can you help please? This is annoying as it is a site where I regularly pay bills and enter updated billing information.

I must stress this problem coincided with the upgraded software.

Kind regards

Anne.

Hi musical.123,

If a URL can't be found but you are connected to the Internet it is usually a DNS issue.

This article gives help with that:

Archived - Troubleshooting "A connection failure has occurred", "The specified server could not be found" or similar messages

You may want to compare you DNS entries with those on the PC.
