May 7, 2014 6:56 PM in response to Bri4583by AnaMusic,1: Connect the device to Your computer and open iTunes.
2: If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane.
Restoring > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414
Make sure you have the Current Version of iTunes Installed on your computer
- iTunes free download from www.itunes.com/download
3: If the device doesn't appear in iTunes, try using the Steps in this article to force the device into Recovery Mode.
Note on Recovery Mode.
You may need to try this More than Once... Be sure to Follow ALL the Steps...
After you have Recovered your Device...
Re-Sync your Content or Restore from the most Recent Backup...
Restore from Backup > http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766
If you try all these Steps and you still have issues... Then a Visit to an Apple Store or AASP (Authorized Apple Service Provider) is the Next Step... Be sure to make an appointment first...

May 7, 2014 7:24 PM in response to Bri4583by AnaMusic,If you have iTunes version 11.1.5 installed on your computer... If iTunes states it has detected an ipad in recovery mode... Then it should work.
However... disconect your Device and Restart your computer and try again.
See Here > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808
You may need to try this More than Once... Be sure to Follow ALL the Steps...
Take your time... Pay particular attention to Steps 3 and 4.
Some users have reported as many as 8 or 9 attempts were necessary before success.
If the issue persists...
Then a Visit to an Apple Store or AASP (Authorized Apple Service Provider) is the Next Step...
