Q: Help request for Iphone 4S calendar that won't sync with Mac OS X

My I-Phone 4S (6.1.3) calendar changes won't sync with my MAC OS-X (10.8.2) after trying the Apple support suggestions.  Please provide your solutions if you have experience with this issue.  Thank you in advance.

MacBook Pro (15-inch Mid 2012), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2), I-phone 4S version 6.1.3

    You need to update your OS X software to v10.8.5.

     

    Click your Apple menu  top left in your screen.

     

    From the drop down menu click Software Update.

     

    Restart your Mac after the updates are installed.

     

     

    On your Mac, make sure Calendars is selected in System Preferences > iCloud

     

    Your iPhone, tap Settings > iCloud

     

    Make sure Calendars is switched ON.

    I completed the software update and it unfortunately hasn't solved the problem.  I have checked the settings on my Mac and I-phone with no success.  The recurring dates are synced to my calendar but my individual appt entries do not appear.  Any further suggestions are appreciated.  Thank you.
