May 8, 2014 4:17 AM in response to Ang-angby hmonster1981,From the looks of similar posts, this is happening with people who have changed geographic regions. I moved from Canada to the UK about six months ago, and am getting this issue with apps that I got in Canada, but I got an update a while ago from an app I've downloaded since moving to the UK, and it updated just fine. Several people have posted that they have contacted Apple Support and they are aware of the issue and working on a fix.

To put it in a broader perspective, I would say that this error is coming for anyone who has changed the location tagged to his Apple ID more than once.
I too had changed my location once before before changing it back to my original location.

May 8, 2014 4:29 AM in response to hmonster1981by JohnF95,Actually, I did change geographic locations, but that was almost 9 months ago! Plus some of the apps that aren't updating were purchased/downloaded after my relocation, so it still doesn't explain why this is happening.

" This update is not available for this Apple ID either because it was bought by a different user or the item was refunded or cancelled. "

seems there is a technical issue with apple store.

May 8, 2014 4:39 AM in response to Ang-angby scottfusion,Yes, I am having this issue as well. It says my ID was canceled, but how can that be if I'm logged in using the ID that is supposed to be canceled? Makes no sense.
