Q: Update unavailable with this Apple ID

From the looks of similar posts, this is happening with people who have changed geographic regions.  I moved from Canada to the UK about six months ago, and am getting this issue with apps that I got in Canada, but I got an update a while ago from an app I've downloaded since moving to the UK, and it updated just fine.  Several people have posted that they have contacted Apple Support and they are aware of the issue and working on a fix.

I guess you're right about the change in geogrpahic region part.

To put it in a broader perspective, I would say that this error is coming for anyone who has changed the location tagged to his Apple ID more than once.

I too had changed my location once before before changing it back to my original location.

Actually, I did change geographic locations, but that was almost 9 months ago! Plus some of the apps that aren't updating were purchased/downloaded after my relocation, so it still doesn't explain why this is happening.

also having this issue in Australia, have also contacted apple. all seems rather related if lots of people having the issue on the same day

i having also this issue in Saudi Arabia  , after i remove Google now by mistake and i go to download again from store , give me this massage

" This update is not available for this Apple ID either because it was bought by a different user or the item was refunded or cancelled.  "

No i didnt and never change my location, i am in kuwait since i created my ID and i never changed my location.

seems there is a technical issue with apple store.

Yes, I am having this issue as well.  It says my ID was canceled, but how can that be if I'm logged in using the ID that is supposed to be canceled?  Makes no sense. 

I got this problem with Viber! Deleted it, restart and now really stuck

Same issue for me in iran with updating some apps such as viber , imdb,      

Its was reported to Apple already they started working to solve this issue according what they are saying.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one having this problem. I also started getting this message since this morning. Some apps I can update but others give me this message like 9gag and IMDB. I also can't download any new apps
