Open System Preferences > Users & Groups > Password
Click the padlock icon to proceed. You will need to enter your admin password.
Then click Login Options
Then select an account (Admin) from the Automatic Login pop up menu.
Your account password is necesary to perform functions on your Mac. It cannot be delete.

I dont want to get rid of admin password. Just the password when I open the iMac.
I have tried the above and it still comes up with a password.
