I use the Safari extension "FastestTube" for downloading mp4s from YouTube. Unfortunately it's not been working recently. Safari showsFastestTube button under the YouTube movies but no pull down appears from it, which means no movies to download 😟
How can I resolve this problem? Thank you

Does it work in a new or Guest user account ?.
If not, there's nothing to be done unless the developer or youtube step in.
Try clicktoflash. It also gives links for any available .mp4 versions.
Youtube no longer support Safari 5.1.10 and OS X 10.6.8, I hate Google and youtube for that!!
I can not use Youtube anymore because the thumbnails does not show any pictures and dropdown does not work.
Have to use another web browser like firefox because of this!
