Q: message alert tone gone off

My Iphone5 message tone does not function after I have sent messages through. I have to do a hard reset to get the message alert tone back on. But it goes away once I used the messages.

 

It happens after I have updated the latest iOS software.

Anyone can help on this?

    From the issue you describe, you may want to double check the notification settings on your device as well as making sure that the Do Not Disturb feature isn't enabled. The following Knowledge Base article prove to be great resources on these features:

    Hi Pedro,

    Thanks for getting back to me. I have tried the above suggestions, scanning through the functions to ensure I did not enable the Do not disturb function, but the problem still persist.

     

    Eveytime when I replied a message either SMS or wassap, or type on the keyboard, I will loose the alert tone. The keyboard clicks will go too after several tapping of the keys.

    I have trying to going into Sound/text tone to try out several tone options which would sound off but not valid.

     

    At the end, I have to do a hard reset to get things back to normal.

    It has never happen before the update of the latest software. Could they be a bug in the software?
