My documents in Numbers and Pages do not seem to be uploading to iCloud. The documents have an iCloud symbol with the word "waiting" at the side. Hence not in the cloud so will not sync with iOS devices. iCloud is set for all devices and signed in

Numbers and Pages documents do not appear to be uploading to icloud. Each document has a cloud sign with the word "waiting"by the side as if it wants to upload but won't. Have made sure that documents and data and the apps are checked in system preferencees on my mac and all devices. I have rebooted everthing several times and reset documents and data through my icloud account. All apps have been updated recently (perhaps this is the problem)

Mail, calandar, notes etc all working fine

iPod classic, iOS 5.1

Try Resetting the iCloud Documents & Data service by going to iCloud.com and click your name in the upper right hand corner and click Account Settings. Then go to Advanced > Reset Documents & Data > Reset Documents and Data and click reset and it should start to sync the data across all devices.

For those that may be interested I resorted to Apple support (takes a bit of effort and time)


They guided me to the"library" and" Mobile Files" where the iwork files are located and renamed this folder which had the effect of regenerating a new folder. This all worked - somehow. No charge because it is a cloud issue. Well done Apple
