blue pixels on screen

I am suddenly getting blue pixels showing up on my screen when I am looking at dark photographs ( I'm a photographer) what are they, and how can I get rid of them

Please post a screen shot. Also please let us know exactly what iMac you have (model and year) and what version of OS X is installed.

Hi there I am on a 27inch iMac year mid 2010 2.93GHz Intel Core 17 running on Maverick 10.9.2 The white dots are snow not a fault

Is this specific to one application or do you see the blue pixels universally?

Hi and Good Morning, It seems to be on photographsthat I have processed in Photoshop ( I think) It is not showing on the main screen

Then I would say there is an issue with Photoshop, not something we can assist here. Please contact Adbobe for support, however before doing so ensure PS is up-to-date.
