Syncreon delivery confusion

This may have been answered before but could not find it! It seems my delivery came to a place near my home went out for delivery, nothing and is now on its way back to hinkcley which is miles away?! In fact it arrived in Runcorn (an hour from me) at 6:30 this morn, then out for delivery then the tracker has reverted back to hinckley. I know that syncreon is a intermediate but has my Ipad gone back gto were it started from?! You have any ideas/has this happened to you? I recieved no note, no phone call about missing the delivery, nor does it say delivery failed. Also delivery date was suppose to be today, even recieved aq text off apple saying it would be with me today.

Any ideas, sadly Syncreon are closed now so cannot ring them. thought someone could shed light here! Do I even bother getting someone to wait in tomorrow?
