Q: how can I reinstall itunes if without lossing purchased music?

I have to reinstall itunes without loosing the music saved there already, the burner got corrupted and I didnt back up the music purchased.

iPod classic 160GB (Late 2009), iOS 6.1.1

    Your iTunes data is not stored in the same place as the program files so uninstalling or reinstalling iTunes will not cause you to lose your data.

    Your iTunes library data is located in the iTunes folder in Music.

     

    • Mac OS X: /Users/username/Music/iTunes/
    • Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\My Music\iTunes\
    • Windows Vista: C:\Users\username\Music\iTunes\
    • Windows 7: C:\Users\username\My Music\iTunes\
