Pages won't shut down

I'm on a McBook Pro, and I can't close Pages documents. When I try to I get the spinning wheel and have to force quit. My updates are all current. Any ideas?

Thanks!

I'll can't check all three computers at the moment but here is what I am running.

Pages v. 5.2 (1860)

Mac OSX v.10.9.4

I save to both iCloud and multiple locations on my computer.

It isn't related to a certain file because I know it happens on all computers with different files. It happens almost every time I have a document(s) open. From memory I can't think of any extra installations that all 3 of our computers would have installed. I am the only one with enough tech knowledge to install extra fonts.

It seems the problem started occurring after the latest pages update. Is there any way to go back to the previous version and see if that fixes it?

Could it be something on our network?
