So how do you repair the data integrity check error? (3 successive tones, a 5 second pause (repeating): This indicates RAM does not pass a data integrity check.)

Macbook air just started making a recurring 3 beep sound with a blank display. Information I found online said this is an indication the RAM does not pass a data integrity check. What corrective action is needed to clear this error and restore the laptop so I can use it again?

Best Regards, Jim

Hi Jim ...

Beeps are an indication the RAM is going bad or has failed.
