My iMessages will not sync with my iPhone and iPad , they did before. I plugged them both to my computer to my iTunes account and tried re booting as well

I am having trouble getting my iPhone and iPad to sync in my iMessage app. I tried plugging them into my computer to iTunes and re-booting they did before and now the iMessage win't sync. Any suggestions?

iPhone 5, iOS 7.1.1
