Google Play to iPod Shuffle?

I know it is possible to download music from the Google Play store and then import it into iTunes, however what I would like to know is if I could then transfer the Google-bought music to an iPod shuffle 4g because the music would be from a different company i'm not sure if it would be allowed or would not work as a result of that difference.....

Hi nathan_455934,

I understand you want to be able to sync music that did not come from iTunes onto your iPod shuffle. You can definitely do this. It sounds like you are already aware of how to move the music into iTunes, the only extra step you may need (depending on format of songs) would be to convert the format of the song files. The following article has some great information on this process if you need convert.

I am including below a link to an article that shows compatible iPod shuffle audio formats to save you a step if you do not need to convert.

Thanks for reaching out,
