Q: Listen to specific albums

Is it possible to search for a specific album and listen to it entirely? Also, can you download said album to your phone for offline use?

In the iTunes Store, without purchasing the album, you can listen to a 90 second preview of each track.

Also, can you download said album to your phone for offline use?

    Yes, by purchasing it.

Isn't that what the $25/yr fee is for?

Are you referring to the subscription for iTunes Match?  Yes, it lets you stream any album in your library, or download for personal use!

Since you posted your question in the Forum for iTunes Store, I thought you were asking about albums in the Store, as opposed to your own albums in iTunes Match.

I am also going to take a wild guess that you are familiar with Spotify where you can stream any album they have, which is millions of them.  iTunes does not work that way.

Gotcha, yeah that's what I was wondering. I was trying to ask if you could search any album (not just your own uploaded), like Spotify, and listen. I use Google Music, which does the same, except you can download to your phone for offline use. Not sure if Spotify does that. Just been hearing that iTunes Match is the best and wanted to know why.

Yup, iTunes Match works very differently from Spotify and Google Music.
