Q: i bought this two dollar free music download app onto my iPod and it has all my music on it and i back up my iPhone 5s with my iPod information and it doesn't download the music app

    Not all apps are universal.  Some must be purchased for each device.  What is the name of the app you are talking about here?

     

    But you can open the App Store app on your phone, look at Updates and tap Purchased at the top.  Tap on Not On This iPhone and it should show you all the apps you have purchased.  It should show you all the apps you have ever purchased using the Apple ID you are signed into the app store with.  If the app is there in the list you may be able to download it if it is compatable with your iPhone.
